Nehru collars and flowy evening gowns struck my attention at Monique Lhuillier. With a Chinese military inspiration, her vision was easily seen in her creations. I loved the red, black, and white color scheme in her collection. She also had a good mix of both long and short evening pieces. The long red flowing gown was my favorite.
Tadashi Shoji was another designer that had amazing eveningwear. Solid colored dresses with beautiful draping took our breath away. Hair was left down and loose.
