Vodka Owners Protest P. Diddy’s Toilet Talk

Remember mid-March when hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs reportedly called vodkas (other than Ciroc, the brand he endorses) “pee pee”? Well, liquor tycoon Martin Silver sure did. And he protested during a press conference March 25 in New York’s Times Square near a giant billboard featuring Combs (who also promotes his “Sean Jean” clothing brand).

Silver owns Georgi, one of the best selling vodkas in New York. He and the owners of Argent, Alexi vodka and other spirits demanded an apology from Combs, the French-made vodka celebrity spokesperson. Silver called Combs’ comments “outrageous.” To further his protest against Combs’ “toilet talk,” Silver and crew brought along a commode filled with bottles of Ciroc vodka. They then attempted to deliver it to Combs’ Bad Boy Entertainment building nearby. But “New Magazine” reported that Combs' security team refused to allow Silver and his crew into the building.” It seems in this poker game of vodka sales, no party held a “straight flush.”
