(SATC2) Sex In The City Movie Gone Muslim!!!

Being in the right place, and on time, provided me with the opportunity to attend the world premiere of "Sex and the City 2". I waited with anticipation like everyone else as the executive producer and the ladies introduced the film. Each woman looked fabulous. We expect nothing less from a group of women that defines chic and embodies the essence of a fashionista and New York City.
The film opened with the classic signature anthem, "Empire State of Mind".I was immediately whisked back into the world we left only a few years ago, taking a journey through the lives of the women we fell in love with. The women are more mature now and the movie picks up a couple of years after the first movie. Charlotte and Miranda are trying to juggle the demands of motherhood. Carrie grapples with a seemingly predictable marriage with Big and Samantha is gracefully warding off the perils of menopause. To shake things up a bit, Samantha offers the ladies an all expense paid trip to Abu Dhabi. The viewer is bedazzled by the glitz of the Abu Dhabi surroundings which serves as a mere backdrop to the ladies' various sub plots and style. True to form, SATC serves up the fashion. We see Carrie in gorgeous costume whether she's going out or simply going to bed. I desperately want one of those caftans! Commentary aside, I was enchanted with the movie from the moment it began. It captured the life of every NYC fashionista perfectly. After all, who doesn't have a little of each woman inside of us, and who doesn't crave a chic happy ending?
