Fashion Benefactors Give Time/Gifts/Money to Causes

Whether or not they have an influx of income, some fashion designers and labels donate to charity. We Know TV supports Haiti Relief (via American Red Cross Disaster Relief) and the Lupus Foundation of America.
Other fashion insiders and their causes include:

LaQuan Smith: This young fashion designer from Queens supports the Co-op City Tennis Club in the Bronx, which offers tennis lesson and facilities and encourages youth the pursue the sport.
Heart Truth Red Dress Campaign: These annual fashion shows increase awareness and raise funds to prevent heart disease.
Yuka Hasegawa: The hat designer from Japan is a spokeswoman for breast cancer prevention and awareness, including Fran’s Vans, motorhomes equipped with medical examining rooms, which set up shop in low-income neighborhoods and provide pap smears and mammograms.
Museum at FIT supporters: The FIT Couture Council's $1,000 per plate (and up) luncheon in honor of renowned designer Karl Lagerfeld raised $600,000+ for the FIT Museum, making it the biggest fund-raiser to date. (Lagerfeld designs for Chanel. Gift bags from the event are shown).
