The Lipstick Nomad author on Julwel Kenney Live

Jenne Lauren followed her dreams when she moved to Seoul, South Korea, taught English and also found work in modeling, acting and radio. When I met Lauren about a year ago in New York at a Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week party, she told me she was finishing up a book project, based in part about her time in Seoul. Well, she did it. Lauren’s book, “The Lipstick Nomad: Living Your Designer Life” will soon be released. Today she talked about it on the “Julwel Kenney Live” show on Blog Talk Radio.
Kenney is a motivational speaker and radio host who said she only likes to interview authors whose books will help listeners change their lives. “You are not just born to live,” Kenney said. “You are born to achieve the greatness within you.”
Lauren’s book talks about doing just that. It inspires readers to find and follow their paths, like she did when she moved to Seoul. The title combines the concepts of searching and enhancing. A nomad is wandering and is rarely content, Lauren said. While “lipstick is beautiful, it transforms a woman’s face.”
Now based in New York, Lauren (shown in the photo above) works part-time for the creator of Nature Only, a line of natural health and beauty products. She also is working on a screenplay of her book, “The Lipstick Nomad,” plus working on TV, documentary and book projects.
Kenney and Lauren said they met at a book fair organized by Basha Riddick. You can listen to both the Lauren and Riddick interviews at Julwel Kenney Live listed under "On Demand Interviews."
