It was a successful day at the Javitz Center for the Curve NY intimate apparel and swimwear show. It’s important to have the right underwear with the right fit, and The Curve NY show is the perfect place to find all of the top-brands that celebrities and commoners alike prefer!
To start, we checked out Betsey Johnson. The designer and her company are best known for their funky, girly, and exciting creations.Her intimate apparel was no different. With a plethora of wild, fun, and flirtatious prints, she was the first collection that we saw, but definitely a favorite of the day!
Next, we stopped into the Spanx booth. Spanx by Sarah Blakely is used by most celebrities to smooth out and suck in those unwanted bulges! They are a necessity for awards shows and for getting a flawless look in those body-hugging gowns. Spanx is great to wear everyday and is beyond comfortable; Spanx has even expanded to tank tops that can be worn out side, not just as underwear! There is even a line of Spanx for men.
Commando is best known for their no-seam technology and has expanded their extremely popular line with cotton panties that’s designed to keep away those panty lines (!!!!). Commando’s “Cotton Cami”, and “The Tulip” thong is new to the collection and will spice up your plain Jane underwear drawer with something a little sexier. They also begun to design hosiery which still embody the excellent fit concept, and the prints used can definitely spice up an outfit! From animal prints to a new take on the "fishnet" stockings, these new products by Commando are certainly something to look forward to!

Hanky Panky is another brand that every woman should own. As the inventor of the "thong,” they also offer a huge assortment of shapes for intimate apparel. Crotch-less underwear is huge in their upcoming collections, and on the other side of the spectrum, a new, longer boy short! To keep that boy short sexy, they have made it available in lace! Known for their comfort, it’s no wonder everyone in Hollywood has invested in Hanky Pankys. With the repertoire that has been buzzing for the upcoming seasons, Hanky Panky will remain one of the leaders in intimate apparel.
Finally we popped into Hollywood Fashion Tape . What started as a company that just produced fashion tape, “two-sided tape to keep garments in place” (a favorite of celebrities, think JLo in that plunging Versace dress!), has now expanded to the bandeau dress, top, Hollywood bodysuit, full body shaper, hip hugger, and the panty shaper, to name a few. They also have a fresh face collection that offers oil blotting tissue, make out mints, ice bag, and compact mirror. They market many essential products that are made to make you look flawless!
