Textworld USA

Textworld USA is one of many textile sourcing trade fairs in America today.
More than 450 exhibiting companies from 19 different countries, showcase the latest fabric and trends for the coming seasons. Held at the Jacob Javis Convention Center, the show attracts designers and buyers from around the world; all networking and sourcing fabrics in one convenient location.
This year, two more shows were added to the lineup, (apparelsourcing) and (hometextiles-fabricsourcing) with a large group of exhibitors from China and Pakistan. Supima, a growing leader of luxury cotton fabrics, was also featured and is new to the show. Fabrics using ground breaking technology were introduced for active wear, upholstery, women’s wear, intimate apparel, and Men’s wear. Eco-Friendly fabrics are a growing segment in the textile industry, and were a big part of the show featuring untreated natural fibers. Big tends for fall include military, sophisticated naturals, and metallics. Fabrics such as wool, knit, silk, jacquard, lace, leather, and vinyl were a breath of fresh air that can be easily manipulated into great designs. The next TexWorld USA trade fair will open January 18 – 20, and July 19-21, 2011 in NYC.
