The 70th ANNUAL “FATHER OF THE YEAR” AWARDS

The National Father's Day Committee celebrated their 70th annual Father's Day award at the beautiful Sheraton Hotel. It was an afternoon celebrating what it means to not only be a good father but to demonstrate the balance between home and professional life. All of the recipients are outstanding men in their careers and the 2011 outstanding fathers are the following:

- Jim Boeheim, Head Coach of Men's Basketball Syracuse University
- Geoffrey Canada, President and CEO of Harlem Children's Zone
- Brendan Hoffman, President and CEO Lord and Taylor
- Radall Stephenson, chairman & CEO of AT&T
- Amar'e Stoudemire, Captain of the New York Knicks

What is fundamentally important to note is that proceeds of the luncheon will benefit Save the Children, a not for profit organization dedicated to making lasting positive change in the lives of children in need here in the US and across the globe.

Each honoree chosen for the 2011 Father's day award has served as a role model and inspiration to their children throughout their accomplished careers, and continuously maintaining a balanced work and home life through their dedications, leadership and contributions to their communities.

Congratulations to all of the fantastic Dads on their accomplishments!
