From Project Runway to Payless, Christian Siriano is one of the most sought-after young fashion designers in the industry to date. Fresh off Project Runway, Christian was already adored by the public and fashion's most elite veterans. His unique and creative designs are worn by celebrities and fashionistas around the globe, and his own signature label is one of the highlight of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Now with the ever growing trend for high fashion looks for less, Payless ShoeSource is inviting guest fashion designers to create capsule collections under the payless brand.
On that account and with Payless, Christian has created two unique labels that offer a wide range of styles, Christian Seriano for Payless Gold and Christian Siriano for Payless. Styles from the gold line are inspired by the shoes and handbags from his runway show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and is re-designed to be more wearable. While his new expanded second line Christian Siriano for Payless, is a more moderately priced collection focusing on everyday styling and will be sold in 2,400 Payless shoe stores across America, Porto Rico, and Canada. Both lines are now available online and in stores. The collections include strappy sandals, ankle boots, dressy pumps, ballet flats, and casual oxford. Also included in the collections are handbags to coordinate with the shoes. To help promote the designers collection, on Monday September 26th Payless ShoeSource gave the public the opportunity to “Strike A Pose” and get their photos taken with Christian while previewing his fall 2011 expanded collection. As the young crowd waited in anticipation to meet with the designer, it’s no doubt his collections are appealing to a new demographical consumer, a more trendy fashion-forward individual. Other Payless designer labels are Lala Rose for Payless and Unforgettable Moments by Lela Rose , Isabel Toledo for Payless, and Silvia Tchrassi for Payless. Each designer offers a unique and distinctive point of view. All are incredibly talented and accomplished fashion designers lending their creativity to Payless and giving the average consumer a broader range of shoes that are both high fashion and stylish.
