Norman Ambrose Trunk Show

Norman Ambrose had a very nice private showing of his Fall 2010 collection at the St. Regis (2 East 55th St in Manhattan, NY). With all production based in New York, Norman stated that he was "proud to be a truly American Company". The collection featured country colors like olive green, amethysts, rusts, and chocolate browns.

Looking at all of the details, I noticed that his collection was very well tailored. My favorites were the coats. Everything was classy, yet sexy without showing much skin. The dresses were feminine and fitted in a way that accentuated beautiful curves. He showcased tweeds with herringbone, romantic silhouettes. He also emphasized that he was about showing shape, not skin. The shapes were shown very well with timeless and wearable pieces.
