The slush outside didn't stop fashionistas from making it to Eryn Brinie! Umbrella in hand, I managed to escape the rain and was just in time for Brinie's Fall 2010 showcase, conveniently held in the Eryn Brinie New York store. Once inside, the crowd kept warm sipping hot cider and watching the show.
The collection was young and hip. Pieces were layered in unusual ways. I loved the chunky sweaters, which looked very warm, yet sleek. I noticed the fit and cut of the jackets was very flattering to a woman's shape. The collection had wearable pieces for everyone. The variety of coat styles was impressive. My favorite was a cream coat with a Peter Pan collar and oversized buttons. From the models' expressions, it seemed they were comfortable in the garments. Each model's hair was put in a loose side braid and each wore simple makeup. The stylists paired black leggings with most garments. It's a look anyone could try and be runway ready.
